The Florida Department of Health (DOH), Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) are working together to protect and restore our environment.
DOH, in conjunction with FWC and DEP, created a “one-stop shop” for information about water quality concerns, including red tide, blue green algae and sargassum at: ProtectingFloridaTogether.gov.
The Protecting Florida Together website has great information, such as:
*Statewide water quality (click water quality status in the upper righthand corner),
*Red tide task force updates,
*Blue-green algae task force.
