DOH-Monroe is conducting two free Breast Health Awareness Seminars for women and men on April 6 in Islamorada and on April 8 in Marathon.

Monday, April 6th 11:00am – 1:00pm – Founders Park Community Center, 87000 Overseas Hwy, Islamorada, FL 33036 

Wed Apr 8th 11:00am – 1:00pm – Marathon City Hall, 9805 Overseas Highway, Marathon, FL 33050

Join the Florida Department of Health in Monroe County for a breast health awareness course led by local experts.  The course is FREE, and all are welcome to attend.

  • Education provided by our nurse practitioner and registered nurse
  • John Barnes Myofascial Release, offered by Keys MFR & Wellness physical therapy, to help reduce chronic pain while supporting immune function, balance, posture, flexibility, and overall health
  • Hands-on silicone models representing women and men breasts that simulate what a breast lump may feel like during a self-exam
  • Information on mammograms and medical resources
  • Free giveaways, while supplies last
  • $10 food voucher given to each participant while supplies last
