The training, held on June 9, 2026, brought together nearly 50 community members and professionals.

The seminar, led by a guest speaker specializing in domestic violence awareness, focused on helping community members learn how to recognize the signs of abuse and how to support individuals who may be experiencing violence. • A step-by-step guide on how to respond to a disclosure of abuse, including how to support the development of a safety plan and connect individuals with local resources

The training also offered information on how to talk to someone who may be in danger of abuse, how to provide resources, and how to access community support services for those experiencing violence.
