Monroe County, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Monroe County (DOH-Monroe) invites women and men to attend one of two free breast health awareness seminars being held in the Middle and Upper Keys.
The events will be held at the following dates and locations:
Monday, April 6, 2026
11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Wednesday, April 8, 2026
11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Marathon City Hall
9805 Overseas Highway
Marathon, FL 33050
These free sessions will be led by local experts and provide valuable education on breast health, including self-exams, mammograms, and overall wellness. John Barnes Myofascial Release, offered by Keys MFR & Wellness physical therapy, will help reduce chronic pain while supporting immune function, balance, posture, flexibility, and overall health. There will also be hands-on silicone models representing breast tissue in both women and men that simulate what a breast lump may feel like during a self-exam.
Attendees will receive free giveaways, including a $10 food voucher for each person who completes the two-hour course, while supplies last.
