The Florida Department of Health in Monroe County researches, prepares and issues reports on health-related statistics across the Florida Keys to meet the requirements of state and local programs and the community. DOH-Monroe partners with local government, law enforcement agencies, social services groups, business organizations and others to publish the Monroe County Community Health Almanac. In addition to health statistics gleaned from DOH databases, the almanac incorporates data from community partners on issues that impact public health. DOH-Monroe also publishes the Community Health Improvement Plan every few years, a blueprint for engaging communities across the Florida Keys on health-related concerns and solutions.
