DOH-Monroe Updates Service Locations to the Gato Building

Monroe County, Fla. – The Florida Department of Health in Monroe County (DOH-Monroe) will start reopening the Gato Building for limited services. Services are expected to begin:

 

  • Tuesday, January 21, 2025: DOH-Monroe Clinic operations will reopen at the Gato Building and will no longer be located at the Tuga Clinic on the College of the Florida Keys (CFK) campus on Stock Island. The Tuga Clinic continues to provide services for students and staff of CFK and Stock Island residents.

           

  • Thursday, January 23, 2025: Vital Statistics will reopen at the Gato Building and will no longer be at the Lester Building.

           

  • Healthy Start and WIC services will remain at Bernstein Park on Stock Island until construction at the Gato Building is complete.

 

WIC and Healthy Start will continue to be open for appointments and walk-ins from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the following location:

Stock Island, FL 33040

 

Reopening dates may change if unforeseen circumstances arise and will be announced as necessary.
