Biggest Loser Competition Returns to Tavernier

TAVERNIER – The Florida Department of Health in Monroe County will be hosting a “Biggest Loser 8-Week Challenge” from February 24th to April 21st. Participants can win prize money based on percent weight loss, which will be recorded at weekly weigh-ins from 7 to 9 a.m. each Friday at the Roth Building, located at 50 High Point Road in Tavernier. The winners from the last challenge, which ended in November 2016, won a total of $500, which was split between the top contestants. The top female won $220 of that prize money. The participation fee of $30 includes registration, weekly weigh-ins, and weekly tips via email. Proceeds are split among the top three losers in the male and female divisions.
